Terms of Service

Last updated: July 10, 2026

Sleepcast is free. No accounts, no payments, no subscriptions, no catch. These terms exist mostly so lawyers can sleep too.

1. What it is

A browser-based sleep app, and only that: a player that shuffles episodes from podcast feeds you add until a sleep timer fades out. Nothing you play passes through our servers, and we don't host, write or narrate any audio ourselves.

2. Your stuff stays yours

Settings, feeds, and history live in your browser. Clear your browser data and they're gone — we can't restore them because we never had them.

3. Your feeds

Add any RSS feed you have the right to access, including private subscriber feeds. Our relay only forwards feed requests your browser can't make directly; we don't store or redistribute feed content. Respect your feed providers' terms.

A YouTube channel can be added the same way. Those videos play in Google's own embedded player, so YouTube's terms apply to that playback as well as ours. Ads shown there are Google's; sleepcast neither places them nor provides any way around them.

4. What you listen to

Podcasts you add are fetched from their publishers and played in your browser. What they contain is between you and whoever made them. Nothing here is medical advice, including the optional quarter-hour rule, which is a timer and a suggestion rather than treatment.

5. Be reasonable

Personal use. Don't abuse the relay, attack the service, or use it to break laws or other people's rights.

6. No promises

Provided "as is", free of charge, with no warranties and no liability beyond what mandatory law imposes. Not a medical device; if sleep is a real problem, see a clinician.

7. Law & contact

Delaware law, except where your local consumer law says otherwise. Questions: [email protected].
